I don't know if anyone has any figures for Gwennap Head or The Lizard. Just got back from Sennen, walked to the bottom of Pedn-Men-Du (1 mile from Land's End) and took a few photos - see www.easterling.freeserve.co.uk/Pedn.html. (Apologies to locals for the mis-spelling of Du on the website.) Isn't that sea a lovely blue/turquoise colour even in a gale, almost looks inviting :-) (After seeing Southend United yesterday !) It did look good, I waited for the sun to catch it. I think all the trapped air bubbles helps to give that colour. Not inviting enough for anybody to jump in, which was a shame as it would have given more idea of scale to the photos. (On the downside they would probably now be dead!) Graham |

They don't look particulary big seas to me from those images. I guess the only way to do it is get something man made, into the frame like a house, harbour wall or breakwater. -- Cheers Dave. pam is missing e-mail |
