Default [WR] Brampton rain shadow, Cumbria

Only 3 mm overnight added to the 1mm from yesterdays showers has given 4mm
of rain, despite impressive radar pictures, looks the fells have sucked all
the rain away again.

Max gust was 41knots at 4am
Pressure Steady at 975mb
Current Weather - showers and 6.8c winds WSW at 11knots

It had only just stopped belting it down up here as you posted Paul. The
gauge recorded about 10mm in the 2 hrs from 0630.

Max gust was 41knots at 4am

Overnight wind stayed a pretty steady F8, occasional F9, until 0500. That
was also peak in temp but hardly a cold front, just a steady climb and
descent. Max gust (FWIW) 57mph at 0259, that is one off. More gusts very
close to that value around 0500.

Current Weather - showers and 6.8c winds WSW at 11knots

Bright and clear, some light cloud, 4C, F5, W'ly.
