Default Paul Hudson - "EASTERLY WINDS next week AND BEYOND"!:-)

The Weather Outlook guys have missed what Paul Hudson, the local Look
North forecaster, said for the coming week and beyond. "A significant
change from recent years next week with EASTERLY WINDS and BEYOND"!, or
*SOMETHING* *like* that.

I therefore find it also odd that Jim Bacon over on Look East has in
fact stated, quite categorically, that "we're not going to get our
promised cold weather", with NO cold snap due to occur over this coming
weekend, if frosty at night in the south-EASTERLY winds of early next
week.

Am I the only person who saw it?

Maybe I was hallucinating, due to lack to snow... or "dream"ing?;-)

I have seen most of Paul Hudsons weather reports and listen to Radio
York when I can. At lunchtime earliern this week he had a long chat
with the DJ about the fact that one of the models, the US one I think
he said wass going for a very cold easterly, but the others were not so
although there was a chance of some cold weather he would update
listeners later in the week. I think he had a similar chat on Look
north with harry and christa. On Look North last night he mentioned some
snow for the Pennines this weekend and early next week would be dry and
cold with east or southeasterlies but I cant remember him saying
anything longer term.

Tonight will be key then.:-)

Of course, my fear is that, as Will Hand et al. have all so often done
before, *if* this is off, then he will just brush it under the carpet,
so to speak, and pretend like nothing has ever happened, and that he
never actually said it in the very first place.

Let's sincerery hope not.:-(

By the way, he reads these forums, doesn't he?

From the few models I've looked it, there is a suggestion of back to
SW'lies
by this time next week...

They must know something that we don't.:-)

Also, in Eastern Europe, the word "SW'lies" is actually considered to
be a "dirty" word, punishable by a stint of hard labour down a Siberian
salt mine.:-D

But seriously, though. I DON'T want to here it, AGAIN!:-o :-(
