First few flakes of snow sighted this afternoon around 1430hrs just above
Alston, Cumbria around 2000ft - moderate shower of rain further down in the town at the time. Car was showing 1C and 0C on Hartside. Overnight low on the AWS of -1.5C, beautiful star spattered clear sky. Mind you it's a bit of a shock to go from 10C to 15C daytime to the rather more seasonal overnight freezing and 5C daytime temps in less than 24hrs. -- Cheers Dave. pam is missing e-mail |
