There's an odd conflict in the TAFs for Heathrow and Northolt issued at
0430z this morning. The Northolt TAF is going for moderate rain between 1500z and 2200z whereas the Heathrow TAF has CAVOK for the same period. They are only about 5 miles apart. Makes it difficult to decide whether or not rain is expected :-( Norman -------------------------------------------------------- EGLL 270430Z 271212 25007KT CAVOK BECMG 2201 BKN025 TEMPO 0112 6000 -RADZ BKN009 EGWU 270430Z 270624 25007KT 9999 SCT025 TEMPO 1522 7000 RA TEMPO 1824 SCT020 BECMG 2124 20015KT (delete "thisbit" twice to e-mail) -- Norman Lynagh Weather Consultancy Chalfont St Giles 85m a.s.l.
