Just got back from a damp few days camping in Swanage to find that
yesterday was the second wettest day in the last two years here in Canterbury with 23.4mm between 09Z-09Z. This month is now the wettest of any since before September 2004 with 93.5mm to 1015Z (167% of the eLTA). I have recorded more than 20mm in a day on two occasions this month. I would be interested to know if anyone has the rainfall total to 09Z this morning for Swanage in Dorset. It rained very heavily just after 6pm (17Z) yesterday for quite a while causing several roads in the area to be flooded. -- Jonathan Stott Canterbury Weather: http://www.canterburyweather.co.uk/ Reverse my e-mail address to reply by e-mail |
