Default Whistlefield : Temperatures for the First Week of June.

1 23.8 17.1 10.4
2 23.3 17.4 11.4
3 26.8 20.8 14.8
4 25.1 19.2 13.4
5 28.3 20.6 13.0
6 23.3 17.8 12.3
7 21.6 n/a n/a

The 3rd, although not achieving the highest temperature so far this
year (30.3 on 10th June), was the warmest day on average so far this
year and the 5th was the second equal warmest.

The 3rd recorded the highest minimum so far and the 4th recorded the
second highest minimum so far this year.

The overall mean so far this month is 18.6.

What a fantastic month it has been so far, and the heat looks like it
is set to return later next week, at least in the south.

The temperatures were not too bad (I'm not a great lover of heat) but
the night-time humidity made sleeping uncomfortable and the midges
loved it!

At least you avoided the sweltering nights southern England suffered.

....of which I have hazy memories but at least in the south it was
possible to open the windows. If we do that here, we're invaded by
midges which is very, very unpleasant.
