Whistlefield : Temperatures for the First Week of June.
Date Max Mean Min 1 23.8 17.1 10.4 2 23.3 17.4 11.4 3 26.8 20.8 14.8 4 25.1 19.2 13.4 5 28.3 20.6 13.0 6 23.3 17.8 12.3 7 21.6 n/a n/a The 3rd, although not achieving the highest temperature so far this year (30.3 on 10th June), was the warmest day on average so far this year and the 5th was the second equal warmest. The 3rd recorded the highest minimum so far and the 4th recorded the second highest minimum so far this year. The overall mean so far this month is 18.6. -- Alan White Twenty-eight miles NW of Glasgow, overlooking Lochs Long and Goil in Argyll, Scotland.
