Appox 400m asl - between Challacombe and Simonsbath.

Brilliant, many thanks!

At 310m asl I am now recording +3.2 degC, so we have a lapse rate of circa 0.7
deg C/90 m. Which puts the zero deg isotherm at circa 600m asl. Given my
relative humidity of 95% the wet-bulb freezing level will be around 550m asl. So
any snow falling should immediately lie at that level with snow falling down to
400m asl as you observed.

No change to forecast :-)

Will.

Glad to assist! Had a look at the radar - looks like it was a firly short
lived event (the stars were shining brightly a couple of miles down the
road)
