Default Did the weather forecasters get it right or?

Im sure they said snow perhaps a dusting last night
and snow flurries today, i had nothing last night
and ive got snow SHOWERS today of light to
moderate intensity .

I was expecting a bit more activity last night and if anything the main
thrust appears to be happening now. Otherwise I think things have gone
pretty much as forecast.

Now (15Z) also snowing at Wattisham and Coltishall

.... the radar shows banding of the PPN over/near you, with some brighter
returns, so no doubt some 'heavier' bursts - which with the dry
low-level air could lead to problems - downward penetration of snow will
occur, especially away from the immediate onshore coastal influence.
Always tricky in these situations, and with the upper low wandering
westwards (and showing strong +ve vorticity advection . . . .

.... could be an interesting 12-18 hours for some in the south.
