Hi,
Please feel free to use my Echolink node as a point of contact for licensed usw users during weather events etc.. The node has a broadband internet connection and should be able to support a a no. of connections (don't know how many!). I am going to be fairly busy during the holiday period, so can't promise to reply to all calls, but will be monitoring the link as per ofcom requirements. I've tried to set the link so that you will not be disconnected if there's no activity, which means you should be able to connect and wait for someone else to call in. The node is located in Swansea at 100m asl overlooking Swansea Bay and the Exmoor Coast. The frequency is 145.3375 MHz, CTCSS 94.8Hz and power is approx. 4W. Callsign GW8LGX - L and the node no. is 237535. This is just an invitation. I don't know if there is any interest, so don't blame me if you call in and can't raise a reply! (unless you're all meeting somewhere else and nobody's told me!) Cheers, Steve Richards |
