Default Benson temperature

Benson observer was on Radio Oxford this morning with Ann "I refuse to
believe it isn't winter yet" Diamond - the only reason I have Radio
Oxford on in the morning is that woman irritates me so much that it
makes me get out of bed, but I digress!

Anyway, she reported a temperature of -7.7C just before dawn and was
expecting it drop a little further possibly, close to their record
November minimum of -8.0C.

In Coventry, it was the coldest November night (-3.7C) since 1993
(-4.4C).

The record was -12.8C in 1904 - not that I was around then!
