sand !
You can also ask for a front wheel drive car.
Placing the sandbag is art, too. Preferably between the wheels.

Today we got some 5-10 cm new snow to the top of already existing 25
cm, but strong and gusty wind added accumulation on roads.Reading
about the Midlands misery this week helped to put our local news...

Fieldfares and cold weather

Last winter, there was a huge cop of rowanberries in Scandinavia and I
saw fielfares and waxtails all winter in southern Finland. This year,
there has been hardly any rowanberries - and hardly any...

Most of these names were as they were known within the office, but some
originated from the air traffic guys (or air tragic as we called them).

There is two reasons for cloud seeding: to get more rain or less hail.
Nowadays the method is used in Australia, Canada and South Africa.
