C'mon - surely somebody here knows:
Vostok, Antarctica recorded the coldest temperature ever, officially at -129F. I just saw though a report that there's a possibility it dropped to -132F in the winter of 1997, but it's still unconfirmed...it's been 8 years - was someone exaggerating or did it really happen or what? John |
