Just curious... date of that storm was Sept. 21st?
Did that storm "graze" any of the coast south of here before making landfall in CT/RI? Kathleen -- This article was auto-posted by the ne.weather.moderated Weatherbot program. Apparently not: http://weather.unisys.com/hurricane/...38/4/track.gif Better matches to Isabel's currently expected track are the 1933 hurricane: http://weather.unisys.com/hurricane/...33/8/track.gif and 1954's Hazel: http://weather.unisys.com/hurricane/...AZEL/track.gif -- This article was auto-posted by the ne.weather.moderated Weatherbot program. Isabel's about 7° S of where the 1993 storm was, and Hazel's track does not resemble Isabel's much at all IMO - I think people are simply making the analogy with that because the official forecast track is currently similar. -- This article was auto-posted by the ne.weather.moderated Weatherbot program.
