Nothing very spectacular. It was about 40 F out. Silver City, Michigan.

Now that's something I don't get to see out here - A Lake! ;-)
Nice Shot Dave. Except for the 40F part it looks like a lawn chair,
bell on the pole nap time Cat Fishing Mornings.

Glad you liked it, Ed.

When I look at this picture on the laptop, the colors are much more
intense. After posting, I download it from the newsgroup and look at it
on the same laptop, and the colors are muted - like the saturation and
brightness have been cranked down significantly. Any idea why that
happens?

If the original nonposted image still has the proper color saturation
and brightness I'm not sure what might have happened. Back when folks used
..gif for image compression I recall that happening now and then but with
..jpg it's all but gone away.

I dunno, Ed. Just posted another picture and it turned out OK.
Sometimes I modify a picture in Adobe Light Room, but those changes
aren't actually resident in the picture unless it's "exported". Light
Room remembers the parameters for the modified picture, and apply them
when the picture is opened (but not when it's posted). That's probably
what did it.
