This is a hilly part of Wisconsin - the unglaciated southwest. The farm is on a long ridge, but we're looking across at it, so it looks like the terrain is flat. There are a couple of ridges between the camera and the farm, and valleys get deeper off to the right. Dave |

We very seldom get "Lined" Fronts (can't think of anything else to call it!?) like that here. Our Clouds are generally caused by convection. A couple of years ago my Wife and I flew to Ohio to pickup her Sisters Car and drive it to Nevada for her and the year befor we visited a friend of ours in S.E. Kansas. Until that time I never really understood what Wide Open Spaces really looked like! In both cases I was glad when we got to the Rockies and had Mountains in site. Crazy Ed |
