Dry and mostly sunny. Showers approaching from Dorset have each
decayed to little more than a fuzz of virga by the time they
reach just north of here. However, there is an impressive line
of towering Cu and Cb (types 3 and 9) between NNW and NE over
the mainland, with pileus visible on the tops of some of the Cu.
Local stratus patches have vanished in the past hour. Virtually
no cloud in the southern half of the sky, although I can discern
some very distant convection, probably over France. Very good or
excellent visibility. Wind W'ly F4-5.
RH 78%. Max temp so far today 14.1
