Default Lovely weather in West Cornwall

Don't you just love it when a front grinds to a halt and wraps around a low just far enough east so you get a lovely sunny day, with frontal cloud visible all day near the eastern horizon!

Wednesday - After a few sharp showers yesterday morning, a very cool but mostly dry afternoon with some sunshine, prolonged after 16:00 to the west of Penzance. The main rain just skirting us to the SE.

Then a cold, clear night, minimum 3.5C. Today prolonged sunshine. A few small Cu on the F3-4 NW breeze, but of very limited vertical extent and rather transient in nature. Maximum 14.2C but feeling warmer in the strong sunshine, particularly in the garden of the 'Pirate' meeting friends at lunchtime.. Superb visibility.

The models did rather well predicted the western extent of the rain a few days ahead.
