Weather quickly going downhill again. Gusts already approaching 50mph at Lands End. 97mm of rain in Penzance so far this month.
Due to lack of photographic evidence, I rather suspect that yesterdays nearby "tornadoes" were just extreme gusts associated with the thunderstorms just off Lands End.
The what seems like the daily closure of the main railway line at Dawlish will definitely take place later today. Forget Brexit, I do wonder how England can manage being so regularly cut off from Cornwall.

It's a huge low pressure.
These things are bigger than Cornwall and Devon.
Restrictions on Tamar bridge due to gale force winds.
Problems with Torpoint car ferries. Restrictions here too.
And Cornwall voted for Brexit. LOL.
Sad really.
