Wednesday late afternoon became cloudy with convective infill which persisted into the evening, but the stars were visible by 2000z as the convective cloud dispersed. Overnight there was some patchy stratocumulus and a lot of cirrus, which declined before dawn. A cold and dewy start to the day, with a light northerly drift and excellent visibility.
