A mostly sunny and warm day with a maximum of 22.5C.
This makes it the warmest October day since 2011 with 25.6C on the 3rd.
Dew points were around 17C for most of the afternoon making the gentle
sea breeze feel soft and warm. With the first hints of autumnal colour
starting to appear and the deep blue sky, it made for a beautiful,
colour contrasting day.
Sea breezes in October are not common and we've had quite a few lately.
A mild, calm evening - feeling more like summer than autumn.
