An incredible deep blue sky today. Still a noticeable NNE breeze, but
not so much as a single contrail.
There's a complete absence of contrails over the Peak District as well,
Graham. That's very unusual for here. Whenever we have blue sky it's
usually criss-crossed with contrails even though the individual
contrails may be relatively short-lived. Yesterday and today, with
almost clear skies, I haven't noticed one. Must be very dry air aloft.
