Time to head out for a few photos.

Unsurprisinggly, a fair bit cooler on the south coast of Cornwall today, than inland and along the north.

So at my station, 600m or so from the sea front, it reached 17.1C. Right on the prom it would have been a degree or two cooler. Just inland, over the moors it reached 18C or so. (E.g. at Bosullow.) At Camborne 19C, near the north coast it reached near 20C. Out on Scilly, 16.2C max on St Martins.

But wherever you were it was sunny & breezy.

Might be a misty start here tomorrow, but by the middle of the day the misty zone looks like being further east, perhaps affecting Len. The latest GFS run has have reduced the risk of low cloud here (based on XCWeather)

SST at the Penzance Buoy is 10.8C http://www.channelcoast.org/data_man...arts/?chart=75
which is near the mid April norm, despite the very cold March. Still decidedly chilly out in a small boat with the SST that low.

A glorious 21.9°C here today.
Can't see that being beaten during this warm spell.
It reached 24°C on 21st April 2011, in the middle of a 7-day spell of temps above 20°C. Those were the days.

I'll blow hard tomorrow Graham to try and keep that sea fog away.

Basking in Wembury on the SW coast of Devon.

Can you stop blowing please Len, I think you're delaying the clearance here..
