The astronomical tidal range at Newlyn on a very big Spring tide is around 6m

The tidal range tomorrow afternoon is just 1.6m, from high tide (3.9m) to low tide (2.3m). (Predicted heights are above Chart Datum). In practice both figures are likely to be slightly higher than the astronomical prediction, but the range will probably be pretty much spot on.

1.6m is the smallest the tide gets at Newlyn (until someone else points out a smaller tide!)

Weatherwise after yesterdays sunshine & light winds with a max of 13.8C, under clear skies it dropped to 6.4C last night. Thin low cloud now breaking

Bournemouth gets very little tide range

I've seen that plot with only about 0.1m range in a day , as any surge
in the channel seems to easily knock out their notch of low water.
