Dramatic change in the forecast today on the Met Office site. We've
gone from 6c with rain to 2c with heavy snow and a yellow warning
with more snow now forecast for Tuesday. To add to the confusion
late night our Midlands Today forecaster said there will be plenty of
rain over the Easter period but no snow!

Today started bright but cloud slowly increased with a few light
showers, felt chilly though in the garden!

Temp now up to 7c (45f)

Yes, Graham, the models have been all over the place recently. The
current story is looking pretty dire for Monday but, at the end of last
week, the ECMWF model was predicting heavy snow for Tue and Wed this
week. That didn't happen. I suppose the Easter Monday snow is best
considered as a 'definite maybe' at the moment! The Met Office model is
certainly laying it on pretty thick now with heavy snow predicted for
here on Monday and slight snow on Tuesday and Wednesday. It has
certainly happened at this time of year in the past.

We've just had a heavy shower of rain, sleet and hail as the first of
the crud from the south arrives. Current temp is 4.6°.
