Bit of snow left in the shade and off course the drifts quite deep on
the way from Weston Coyney to Leek.
Loved the weekend walking in our country park in those blizzard like
conditions but it was so bloody cold in that wind!
As much as I love snow hopefully that will be the last of it and we
can look forward to some warmer Spring like weather.

The models aren't looking too promising, Graham, with Thursday this
week probably being the peak of the 'warmth' then a gradual slide back
to coldish weather for Easter.

I wasn't in Tideswell over the weekend but it's pretty obvious that
there was a lot more snow than during the previous episode at the
beginning of the month. I drove over to Bakewll this morning, via
Wardlow. The drifts along the side of the road were very impressive,
higher than the car in places. The snow plough and gritter teams have
done a superb job in getting the roads clear so quickly. I understand
that all roads in the area were impassable on Sunday morning.
