Snow still lying at Sennen this morning
http://www.turnstone-cottage.co.uk/SS.html - 6 days on (28th was the big fall here) Only 1 day officially 'snow lying' at 09:00 - 1st March, even though spots in the far west were cut off for 48 hours.

I was rather surprised at the snow since the temperatures have been between between 5 & 10C most of the time for 4 days, peaking at 11.4C,with sunshine & plenty of rain.

In fact speaking to people at Sennen this moring, I think my previous reports may have understated the amount of snow that fell in that area on 28th. No snow left in Penzance since 3rd.
