Well, after yesterdays strong E wind, persistent cloud & snow flurries, clear blue sky & (mercifully!) FAR less wind this morning.
A minimum of -3.0C making it the coldest night since 3/2/2012 (-4.8C). Temparature @ 09:00 -1.4C.
What is really interesting is that significant snowfall in southern Cornwall now looks very likely for tomorrow, falling onto frozen ground.
So there is the potential for 2 disruptive snowfalls in the the far SW in the same month, following the rather chaotic morning of ice covered roads of 7th February

Looks like 1 days excitement (tomorrow) before milder air creeps into Cornwall.
The recent easterly has piled the sand back up.

Air frost even out on Scilly!
