I'm not a home atm and was just thinking what happens to my Data on my usb IP
logger when the clocks go back tonight? Currently is is on bst but what
happens at 2am Sunday morning? My older WMII I just leave on GMT all year so
never an issue.

Just a quick question as I don't have my manual with me, do I need to do
anything with it?

It all depends on how you set it up initially. I have mine set to be on GMT
permanently. There's also a tick box to go to daylight saving time
automatically but I don't have that ticked. Or, you might have it set up to be
on GMT+1 permanently, in which case it'll be one hour ahead of clock time
tomorrow.

Thanks Norman,

Now back at home and just had a look at the settings I've got.

Ticked I have 'Auto detect', but not ticked is 'daylight savings', but currently am running on bst. (Time zone GMT). Will see whats what in the morning, but may, like yourself keep GMT 12 months of the year, like my WMII is.. ALso so much easier when transferring data into my daily log, eg 9 gmt is 10 bst, easy to get in a muddle. After all, meteorologiclly worldwide, GMT is the standard.

From Davis Help...

snip
Daylight Savings

You can manually select daylight savings time by selecting On in the Time Settings box when daylight savings time is in effect and de-selecting On when standard time is in effect.

See Manually Setting Daylight Savings Time for the correct procedure to set daylight savings manually.

Vantage station only: If you have a Vantage Vue, Vantage Pro or Vantage Pro2 console, you can use the Auto Detect function to automatically turn daylight saving time on and off.

If you select Auto Detect Daylight Savings:
snip

I imagine if I want it to stay on gmt next March I un check 'Auto Detect'?

When I look at the browse data this morning you wouldn't know the clocks had gone back, so I can only guess an hours worth has been overwritten. It's not a problem, just curious.
