Default September La Moratille - 2 local weather impacts

The first impact is the late report as telephone and internet have been out until now, since storms on Friday evening/overnight.

The second and slightly more impactful, was turning on the tap on 9 September, with no water to be seen. The spring which feeds the reservoir which supplies quite a few local communities, had dried up. Fortunately the mayor arrived in the afternoon with two 1 litre bottles of water for us!

The water returned in the evening, a separate spring was diverted, but we are still having to boil the water.

A warm, sunny month, with the end of the drought finally. Rainfall about average for the month. Nights are cooling down, but no air frost yet, which usually occurs last week of September, though one was recorded locally on 27th.
