Default Torro

The first time this has changed in months February I think:

Severe Weather Forecast

TORRO CONVECTIVE DISCUSSION 2016/002

A TORRO CONVECTIVE DISCUSSION has been issued at 1200GMT on Wednesday 11th May 2016 [ Bit late now I know but I'd given up on it and stopped looking..]

Valid from/until: 12:00 – 19:00GMT on Wednesday 11th May 2016 for the following regions of the United Kingdom & Ireland:

Portions of central and southern England

SE Wales

THREATS

Isolated tornadoes; heavy rain and hail; CG lightning

SYNOPSIS

An upper short wave is crossing the area at the moment. In the wake of morning rain, cloud breaks have allowed insolation to foster the development of heavy showers and thunderstorms in the slack, humid airmass. With low cloud bases and low-level convergence of surface winds, local areas of vertical vorticity may be stretched by passing shower and thunderstorm updraughts enough to allow brief, weak tornadoes to develop. The risk should decrease as the low-level airmass cools this evening.

Forecaster: RPK.

I can't say I noticed anything.
