That warming is dated up to the 6th Dec, Lawrence.
Unless there's some lag time it seems unlikely to be influencing the
stratosphere (and Netweather forum covers this).
Right now there does not appear to be a signal for any high latitude
blocking this side of xMas.
Looking like a windy, mild/cool Atlantic dominated xMas run-up to
come......and possibly beyond.....
