Strong winds, very squally rain/hail showers, recent gust of 53kt at St. Ives. We do really catch it in a NW as the wind gets squeezed around Land's End. Curently F8 at Sevenstones. Not very inviting out at sea http://www.landsendweather.info/

Yesterday was the 1st sub 10C max of the Autumn - it reached 9.4C at some time.

Still, should be plenty of sunshine as the winds go around to the NE, a sheltered direction here.
