If Aviemore is 29c, I would bet your bottom dollar that some remote Highland glen has already registered over 30c. Thats always been the problem with these remote areas, lots of spectacular weather happens there, which is invariably never recorded! Ive been stravaiging these glens for many years, and confirm that under synoptic conditions such as are prevailing now, some of these narrow sided glens trap the heat something awful!
