Default Sunny sea Mist on Scilly

At least, there is now http://www.scillyman.co.uk/Lowertown_Cam.html but not for long I sspect. Notice the sun on the bushes in the foreground. Very high UV conditions for today.

19C @ 09:00 on St Martin's in the mist, which isn't surprising, the open sea SST in the area is 17-18C, http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Reursst.gif in the extensive very shallow sandy waters around the Islands it will be higher.

The fog bank is visible off Land's End http://www.landsendweather.info/ .

21.2C in Penzance @ 09:00.
Yesterday's Max 27.7C
Last nights Min 13.5C

[OT] but I read this on the WEB yesterday

One of the main pleasures of leaving The Cove on days like this is coming back down the hill again. Below you is a scene that is either difficult to describe or, having described it, is difficult for the reader to believe. It really is a scene from the Caribbean but with less colourful woolly hats, not that I have ever been but I have seen the pictures in the travel agent's window and thought that they must be advertising Sennen beach in high summer.

A person with taste & good judgement
