Tideswell, Derbyshire - Friday 12th July 2013
-----------------------------------------------------

0530z CALM 5000 BR 2Ac120 3Ci300 10.2/09.7 1025
RMK: Very warm sunshine already. There was fog at 0400z.

0900z W F2 7000 HZ 3Ci300 20.0/16.8 1025
RMK: It feels very hot and steamy and, for me at least, it's not
at all pleasant. The temp is 4.3 deg higher than at this time yesterday
and the dew point is 6.8 deg higher. It's difficult to be sure but the
haze appears to have great vertical depth, extending from ground
level well up through the troposphere. The sky is a milky beige/white
tending more to brown at the horizon.
09-09z: Tx 23.8 (1645z) Tn 8.8 (0430z) RR nil
18-09z: Tg 6.7 00-24z: Sun 12.4

1600z WNW F2 7000 HZ 6Ci300 25.3/18.5 1023
RMK: A hot and steamy day. Definitely not a day for outdoor
activities. The combination of thick haze and patches of thick
cirrus has restricted the sunshine total to only about 4 hours
so far. It looks more like dust than smoke. Max temp 25.3
