When I qualify, I'll take them and give the money to an age charity. It
seems a bit perverse giving me cold weather payments when I rarely feel
cold. E.g. Temperature in my study is +10.1C and I am comfortable with a
sweat shirt and thick fleece. I do understand that not everybody is the same
though, and it is so sad that poor old folk are having to make choices
between food on the table or fuel for heating. I just wish that we as a
nation could do more to help.
