I know it's been bad there Ken and other upland areas but I think you
have experienced this many times before as has most of the country in
most winters, if not several times in some. I think it is just the media
getting me and Ron down trying to tell us it is something unusual when
it isn't. An example would be our local paper on Monday which proclaimed
that blizzards had struck South Essex and paralysed the County. There
was a maximum of 10 cm of snow, some places less than 5 cm and the
maximum wind speed was 5mph !!
