Temperatures have been swinging quite wildly today - some short lived
showers of rain and then hail, and no looking at the IR animation it
appears we are on the southern flank of the flabby low pressure, but
enough to bring wind in off the Bristol Channel - have to see what
tomorrow brings.
NAE brings in rain for me at 310 metres tonight with a temperature of
+3C.
I don't believe it one bit, saw similar in Feb 2009 and that system
dumped 9 inches of snow.
Now up to a balmy +3.1 in Porthcawl. Needs a change of wind direction,
though looking at the UK temperature maps the milder air is spreading.
A balmy -1.4C with me James. Milder than this time last night though when it
was -3.7C.
