Amazing conditions at present in the home counties, takes me back years!
Meanwhile Altnaharra (that favourite cold spot loved by the tabloids)
continues to bask in mild.

Indeed, just 20 miles south of Altnaharra and the mild, springlike weather
continues. After one of the foulest Januarys on record, it's great to be
able to get out in the garden every day. Temp. last night was around +6C.
with daytime temps. around +9C. Overcast with a little drizzle today but sun
forecast for tomorrow and still no wind.
