Summary valid for Sunday 07/09/03 to Saturday 13/09/03
TOI (time of issue) Thursday 04/09/03 1830 UK local time This summary is based
on a quick appraisal of the GFS, JMA, ECMWF, UKMO, FAX, and ENS (NCEP ensemble)
labelled charts available from the superb http://www.wetterzentrale.de/topkarten
The first few days of next week look like seeing rain in all parts as an
Atlantic depression and fronts move into the UK. However, after midweek pressure
will again build in the south but the north will continue to be affected by
Atlantic fronts associated with depressions near Iceland. This means that
northern areas will stay changeable with further rain or showers with southern
Britain turning dry again with sunny spells. Temperatures generally around
normal but turning warm again in the south later. Chance of gales at times NW
Britain. Confidence high for changeable spell of weather and moderate for return
of dry conditions in the south.

Hi Will,
Appreciate the forecasts.
I'm getting married next Friday (12th) pm in Swansea and am hoping to
take photos etc on the sea front. You have given me hope!
All I need now is a forecast for Corfu for the following week?
Cheers,
Steve Richards
