RMK: Looks like it has probably snowed for much of the night. There's
now 9cm of lying snow but it's very wet stuff as the temp has remained
in the range +0.8 to +1.8 throughout the night.

0900z WNW F3-4 4000 RE+SHSN 7St004 +00.9/+00.8 1004
RMK: Frequent sleet and snow showers. Some of these have been
much heavier than anything we had yesterday, with vis down to
200m briefly. 10cm wet snow on the ground.
09-09z: Tx 2.1 (1505z) Tn +0.7 (2220z) RR 27.6
15-09z: Tg -0.2 (under snow) 00-24z: Sun 0.1
Rainfall total for the past 48 hours is 46.4mm. There must be some
very deep snow higher up where there has been little or no melting.
