I was down in Sheffield yesterday (Saturday) delivering some bits and pieces
to our son, who has just gone there to university. Spent an hour or so
wandering around Sheffield city centre unable to reconcile the sun and heat
with it being the first day of October. It was simply amazing seeing
everyone back in their summer wardrobe and the smiles on the faces on those
equally bemused by the return of summer.
Today has been a bit of a reality check!

NE England - a great area both for weather and people. We've got a place
near Bamburgh as well and that beach is paradise!
