I have put a short video file from 2006 showing the moon's shadow crossing
the earth's disc during the solar eclipse of 29 March 2006. The umbra and
penumbra show up very well.

It is an .avi file, and works well in Windows Media Player on my PC, but may
also work OK on other player platforms.
