O'Rourke sent me a photo last night of him standing with a cheeky grin
next to a new car he'd bought to enjoy his retirement last year - what
a crying shame he didn't get the time to spend it whizzing around the
hills and dales with his new wife. I was hoping to visit this year
once settled in Dublin.

I'm sure the news took the edge off the day yesterday for many on
