I always read Mike's interesting and often informative posts and I
recall in particular how helpful he was to me when, some years ago, he
learned of my "missing" DWRs from the 1962/3 winter. He went off and
scanned the lot for me, something that must have taken him a very long
time and for which I will always remember him with gratitude and a
smile. He was a nice bloke was Mike, I will miss him.
