For what it's worth I have been working with the wizards at
weatheronline to create something similar, viz:

The click-boxes allow you to compare the models of your choosing,
and
the numbers from 0-384 allow you compare the models - where
available.
The main reasoning for doing this is that it aids "model-watching" -
but the drop down that says "Base" allows you to access the previous
6
days' forecast data to see how each of the models have forecasted
the
current situation. e.g. for 12Z today (Saturday) you could go to
Tues,
12Z GMT on the Base drop-down and pick 96 and see how the models
compare out to 12Z today.

I was only thinking a few days back that we've come a long way since
this newsgroup started: no radar & models via US sites (where
available).
