As one of the few Caltic folk here I wish we had a few more reports from
Wales. There appears to have developed an area of heavy precipitation
over Snowdonia - moving south - I'm right on the S Wales coast and the
wind off the sea has locally raised temps to 6.0 - we have our own micro
climate.

Incidentally I would go with Will's forecast for a return of the
easterlies - based on the old 'memory trick' that a pattern often
returns after a short interlude - well we can live in hope! ;-))

Cheers

James

We have seen no snow up here till this morning when we have had a few
brief showers. There is now a very thin coating of snow. Current
temperature is -4.9 so little warmth. It is just a lack of precipitation.

In other words, there has been little to report. Sorry, James.

Not at all - there is now quite a few contributors from Wales ;-))
You might get a fair bit more in the next couple of days Howard.

Depends on who gets it right. According to the Met Office, we should be
having a number of heavy snow showers today. However, GFS indicates it
will be dry. We will see.
