Actually that's quite interesting.
The nearest station to me is Leconfield and whilst representative of
large parts of the East Riding, it isn't representative of the Wolds
where I live.
There were certainly periods here that would have been triggered, had
my station been utilised. But what I had noticed this winter, was how
often Leconfield seemed to be recording temperature's a fair degree
higher than other local locations.
I'm sure this won't have happened at other stations used in cold
weather payments, would it?
