Default 9th February 1991 in Leeds and Bingley

On this date we had 25cm of snow on the outskirts of Leeds (Farsley ) with
drifts of over 90cm (3 feet). In contrast Bingley had 51cm of level snow
and 8 foot drifts. The snow that fell on this date is the greatest depth to
have fallen in this area over the last 25 years. I doubt whether we will see
the same tomorrow. Currently my snow depth is 6 cm, but some parts of Leeds,
particularly to the North and South have depths of around 12cm.

Snow grains have just started to fall here at 1600 and the temperature is
1.1C Dew point -2 C.
